DETAILS ON OUR HUMANITARIAN ACTIVITIES IN NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR
Our organization is committed to carrying out humanitarian activities in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. Our activities include:
1). Provide Social and Economic Support:
We provide support for individuals and families in need including free cooked meals, groceries, feminine hygiene products for women and girls in the immigrant community in St. John's and surrounding communities. In addition we partner with local professionals and community organizations to provide counselling, antiracism awareness training and domestic violence intervention.
2). Advance Education:
Our organization is focused on providing scholarships to qualified New Canadian youths from low income families.
3). Relieve Poverty:
Provide job/employment skills training for unemployed newcomers and immigrants to enhance their employability.
Implement job connection programs to connect unemployed newcomers, immigrants and refugees with local employers.
Provide business/entrepreneurship skills training programs for newcomers, immigrants, Blacks and other racialized individuals to enable them to start and grow their own successful businesses in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Our organization carries out its activities through its own volunteers, directors or employees.
It also carries out its activities through reputable agents or through some other intermediaries, but still directs and controls the use of its resources.
