Status
We Care Foundation of Newfoundland and Labrador is a St. John’s based non-profit public foundation incorporated under the Newfoundland and Labrador Non-profit Corporation Law. It is administered by volunteer Board of Directors.
Mission Statement
The Mission of the organization is to carry out humanitarian activities within and outside Newfoundland and Labrador.
The mission of We Care Foundation of Newfoundland and Labrador Inc is to create and implement humanitarian programs and activities to support those in need. Our main focus is to provide free gender-based support programs and services. Including programs and services to address and end gender-based violence against immigrant and racialized women, girls, seniors and 2SLGBTQIA+.
Another mandate of our organization is to provide and/or enhance economic, educational and social empowerment of vulnerable immigrant, racialized and marginalized women, girls, youth and children in Newfoundland and Labrador.
